About Me

Hello, my name is Elena Nosov. I am the founder and director of Lena’s Simple Music.

My background in music originated in Kazakhstan, Middle Asia where I studied at the School of Music & Art. There I studied and practiced vocal in both individual and group settings. Throughout my years of experience, I have conducted youth choirs and various music groups ranging from several participants to 50 members. In addition, I have participated as a piano and vocal soloist in classical repertoire. The teaching methods I use include traditional and modern methodology of piano to various age.

The more recent and successful methodology of teaching music, the Simply Music program, was created by Neil Moore. This way of teaching music revolutionized and eased the process of learning for students. Also, it made a breakthrough in teaching piano in a way that everyone could enjoy playing music with both hands as early as their first lesson! With this unique program, students play compositions and improvisations, make arrangements, accompaniments, engage in Jazz and Blues, and read notes and rhythms. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced musician, prefer the traditional or modern method, I am excited to help you develop your skills and expand your potential.

My passion is to teach music and give students experience playing with natural self-expression. Also, have a huge repertoire of sound, and music so they have the knowledge to progress on their own, and most importantly feel great about themselves, a sense of victory.

My goal is to give society a better choice of understanding and experiencing music that creates a different point of view in teaching. From my experience, I discover that this methodology is very easy for students to grasp and achieve goals than any other method. Students enjoy the speed of the process of growing and trigger self-generated curiosity in music.
